My goal is to breed dogs that are beautiful, healthy, sound and have stellar temperaments that meet the AKC standard. All my dogs are health tested, even the rescues that have stayed with me. I test for eyes, patellas, cardic, PRA, Vwd, Factor VII and NAD. I only use those who have passed the required tests and gotten a CHIC # with the OFA in my breeding program. Any puppies from the few breedings that I have are to produce my next show prospect. We occasionally have puppies that do not stay with us that are placed in very carefully selected pet or performance homes. I do Puppy Culture with my puppies and start them on day 3 with ENS techniques to give them a head start. Puppy paws are touched everyday and they are put on their backs to help them get used to handling. Puppies are trained to gated areas in my home in the same room where I work and live and are part of my everyday chaos with lots of noise and visitors. We socialize with sounds, smells and new sights each week. They are started on house training and also crate trained to sleep in them all night before going home. Our puppies are very smart, and you will need to make sure they are trained daily and are part of your daily life. Puppies are thoroughly checked out by our awesome Veterinarians at least 3 times before going home and have been dewormed had their first shots and sometimes more if we hold on to them for awhile to grow out.
